Join the Three Falls Team in 2016

Become a part of the finest summer camp staff in Southern California -- apply now to work at Camp Three Falls in 2016.

The Three Falls staff consistently gets rave reviews from Scouts and leaders, and the quality of our staff is what brings troops and packs back to Three Falls year after year. You'll work hard, learn a lot, and make lifetime memories, both for yourself and for our campers.

Applications are due by December 15. We will interview applicants for area directors and other key positions in late December and early January; other applicants will be interviewed in late January or early February.

You must be at least 14 years old to work at camp. Applicants who will be 14 at the start of camp are hired as counselors in training. CITs receive extra training and will rotate between several program areas during the summer. Applicants who will be 15 or older during the camp season are eligible to be assistant instructors, instructors, or area directors depending on age and qualifications. Some positions require specific training or certifications.

While most of our staff is made up of high school and college students, we also have some key positions that require adults, including kitchen staff, office staff, camp commissioners, and some supervisory program positions.

Most staff positions require a commitment to attend staff week, June 19-25; three sessions of Webelos Camp (June 26-July 6); and three sessions of Boy Scout Camp (July 7-30). There will be an orientation meeting in March and three or four mandatory pre-camp training sessions during the months leading up to camp, held on Saturdays, usually at the council office in Camarillo. Training dates will be announced at your interview.
